The Client

ORCA Financial Limited trading as ORCA Financial is a leading Irish based provider of financial service products including pensions, life assurance, savings and investments. Founded in 2004 and having positioned themselves as one of Irelands most progressive financial services organisation they decided to change accountants and business advisers in 2008 and appointed Avid Partners – Accountants & Business Advisers to act as auditors and taxation and financial advisers.

The Challenge

As an established organisation, they needed help with many aspects of their growing and developing business. They required a full business advisory service and selected Avid Partners – Accountants & Business Advisers to be their comprehensive business advisor. Initially, they needed help negotiating terms and warranties on acquiring brokerages.

They then required a review of the financial operation of the business and the delivery of regular management reporting ensuring robust financial control of the leveraged acquisition strategy. ORCA Financial also needed to appoint a new auditor and taxation planning specialist.
