Each member of the Avid Partners – Accountants & Business Advisors team undergoes a comprehensive introduction programme and enjoys regular training and development to ensure that they remain abreast of legal, accountancy, taxation, corporate finance and company legislative changes, as well as remaining on top of their game for the benefit of our clients.
Jamie O’Hanlon – Managing Partner
Jamie has spent his working life providing close support to business owners and manger in the areas of financial management, strategic planning and business development and his passion is to see indigenous businesses in Ireland profit and prosper. A fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Jamie is the founder and managing partner of Avid Partners – Accountants & Business Advisers. Established in 2001, Avid Partners has offices in Dundrum, Dublin and Portlaoise.
Jamie see his role very much as partner in his clients’ business and as a business owner himself, has unique insight to the challenges of starting and growing a business in varying economic environments. Jamie is past President of the Laois Chamber of Commerce (2008 – 2012) and was appointed to the National Council of ISME in 2017.

Accounts Team
Sinéad Fisher, ACCA | Accountant
Sinéad joined the team in March 2021 and brings with her significant experience in all areas of finance including payroll, audit, taxation, and financial reporting. Sinéad is a native of Ballycommon, Tullamore, Co Offaly. She attended the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) and graduated with Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting. Sinéad qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2019. Sinéad enjoys working closely with clients, getting to know their business, and offering practical guidance and advice. Sinead Somers | Assistant Accountant
Sinead looks after the book-keeping for a major Irish supermarket chain. With responsibility for the organisation’s general ledger, Sinead records all transactions; posts debits and credits, bank reconciliation and produces financial statements and other reports for the client as required. Hanna Heffernan | Trainee Accountant
Hanna arrived in Avid Partners on work experience in the Summer of 2014. She returned to Griffith College that Autumn to complete her final year of a BA in Accounting and Finance. In July 2015, Hanna joined the team full time. Hanna deals with Corporation Tax and Income Tax return for clients in numerous industries. She is also experienced in dealing with VAT in Ireland and other countries within the EU and RCT sectors. Furthermore, she has 5 years experience in auditing and tax planning. Áine O’ Neil | Accounts Assistant
Áine supports the account team on a day-to-day basis, responsible for book-keeping and accounts preparation; preparation and filing of VAT returns & RTD’s; filing and maintaining records; communication with clients; and, communication with Revenue on behalf of clients.
